Higher Education Commission of Pakistan is inviting applications for the award of scholarships for PhD programs under US-Pakistan Knowledge Corridor program. Masters/MS leading to PhD programs are not included.
The scholarships are valid only for admissions to US universities. The university is required to be in the top 100 QS World Ranked US universities.
The scholarships are for Spring/Summer 2027 and Fall 2027 admissions. HEC says that it will give preference to applications having admission in preferred subject areas.
You can submit your applications through HEC scholarship portal.
In the eligibility criteria, they say that a minimum of a 4-year bachelor’s degree is required. Does this mean you don’t need an MS degree, i.e., 18 years of education? I don’t know.
There is an upper limit on age: 40 years for government employees, while 35 years for the rest. You also shouldn’t be availing any other scholarship.
